What we decided, and how we built it.

This page lists Rainpulse's own development operations separately from work that our representative, Shuji Iwata, did as an individual before the company was founded. Rainpulse LLC was founded in May 2026 and has not yet delivered an engagement for a client as a company.

AI / Development

Running our own development with AI agents

Rainpulse (in-house) / Jul 2026 – Present

The problem

Coding agents can run many at once. But without clear task boundaries, context, permissions, checks, and ownership of integration, the rework and review load simply shifts back to people.

What we do

  • •Splitting requests into tasks, with dependent tasks in separate phases
  • •Giving each task its own Git worktree and scope
  • •Separating implementation from verification, and integrating only changes that pass the checks
  • •Recording the runtime, role, and exit status of every agent run

Current state

We use it every day in our own development. We have not yet measured improvements in lead time or review time.

The problem

Core backend services for Layer 2 infrastructure had to go from design to implementation in a short window.

Representative, before incorporation

AI knowledge search and a healthcare AI platform

Healthcare company / Jan 2023 – Oct 2025

The problem

The web platform behind a healthcare AI product needed work, and internally, finding information and answering questions was slow.

Role

  • •Leading web development and optimisation for the platform
  • •Designing and building a RAG Slackbot over internal knowledge
  • •Forming and running a three-person engineering team

Result

RAG-based internal knowledge search entered daily use, and optimisation of both frontend and backend of the platform was completed.

Platform

Representative, before incorporation

Product foundations designed as CTO

Platform company / Sep 2021 – Jan 2023

The problem

Launching a new platform meant deciding architecture, development process, and deployment from nothing.

Result

Everything from architecture to deployment was put in place, and a six-person team was able to develop continuously.

A listing automation system designed and built solo

The problem

Manual listing work had become a constraint on the business, and they needed someone to own automation from design through build.
